Terms of Use

These terms cover the MotoABL website and the MotoABL iOS app published by Totemic LLC. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use MotoABL.

What MotoABL is

MotoABL is a commute-window planning aid for motorcycle riders. It shows weather and map context for ride windows you set. It is not a safety system, not a navigation substitute, and not a guarantee that a ride will be dry, legal, or safe.

Your responsibility

You decide whether to ride. Check the road, your motorcycle, traffic, visibility, and local advisories. If conditions feel wrong, choose the safer option. Totemic is not responsible for weather that arrives differently than a forecast, missed alerts, or any incident on the road.

The app and this site

• No account is required. Preferences live on your device.
• Location, notifications, and Calendar access are optional and used only for the features you turn on.
• Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
• Do not misuse the service, scrape it, or try to interfere with it.

Apple’s EULA for the iOS app

The App Store version of MotoABL is also licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement is at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Our EULA page points there as well.

Privacy

How MotoABL uses information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

MotoABL, this site, and related marks are owned by Totemic LLC. You may use the app and site for personal, non-commercial riding decisions. You may not copy the product, reverse engineer it, or present it as your own.

Disclaimer and limitation

MotoABL is provided as-is. Forecasts, maps, and alerts can be late, incomplete, or wrong. To the extent Wisconsin law allows, Totemic LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for a decision to ride or not ride.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
