Privacy Policy

MotoABL is a commute-window call. This policy describes the information used by the app.

Information used by MotoABL

• Ride-base location: You may enter a ZIP code or optionally use current location during onboarding to set a ride base. MotoABL uses this location to retrieve local weather and map information.
• Route locations: If you use route planning, MotoABL uses selected start and destination information to present route-related map and weather information.
• Riding preferences: Your commute times, comfort thresholds, gear choices, daylight preference, riding style, and alert choices are used to personalize the planning view.
• Calendar: Premium riders may choose to create ride reminders. MotoABL requests write-only Calendar permission only when you use that feature.
• Notifications: MotoABL requests permission only if you choose to enable ride alerts. These alerts are local device notifications.
• Purchases: Purchases and subscription transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit.

How information is used

MotoABL uses the information above for app functionality: to present weather and map information, personalize ride planning, schedule optional alerts, and create optional Calendar reminders.

MotoABL does not require you to create an in-app account. MotoABL does not use information for advertising tracking.

Your choices

You can decline optional location, notification, and Calendar permissions. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. You can edit or remove ride preferences and ride bases from within MotoABL where available.

Third-party services

MotoABL uses Apple services, including WeatherKit, MapKit, StoreKit, and, when you choose it, Calendar and local notification services. Those services are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy information.
